Varieties: The PMG Population Report includes "168afr" for notes that earned PMG's First Releases designation.
What makes it special? This note is the highest denomination in the current series of Indonesian currency. The various denominations vary slightly in width, with this 100,000 Rupiah measuring 151 mm (about 6 inches) wide, about 25 mm wider than the smaller denomination: the 1,000 Rupiah. It shows the Betawi mask dance, an important part of Indonesian culture and one that is associated with Jakarta, the capital.
