PMG Grading On-site in Hong Kong in April

Collectors and dealers can submit banknotes at PMG's Hong Kong, China, office, at the Hong Kong International Coin Convention or at the Hong Kong Coin Show in April.

Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®) will conduct on-site grading of banknotes at the office of Certified Collectibles Group – International Hong Kong Limited (CCG Hong Kong) from April 8-20, 2024. With on-site grading, PMG provides its full expert and impartial authentication, grading and encapsulation services on location with an extremely fast turnaround time.

If you would like to pick up your on-site grading submissions at the Hong Kong Coin Show (HKCS), your submissions must be received by PMG’s Hong Kong office by 5:30 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024. Please indicate “HKCS Pick Up” at the time of submission.

PMG will still accept on-site grading submissions until 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2024, for pick up or return shipment starting Friday, April 19, 2024. On-site grading submissions may be made at the following locations:

  • The CCG Hong Kong office, until 5:30 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2024
  • CCG Hong Kong’s booth (101-102) at the Hong Kong International Coin Convention (HICC), from Tuesday, April 9, 2024 until 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2024
  • CCG Hong Kong’s booth (E5-E7) at the HKCS, from Friday, April 12, 2024 until 12:00 p.m. on April 14, 2024

Please write "PMG HK OS" on the shipping label or the outside of the shipping box for all on-site grading submissions to ensure that the submission is graded during the on-site event.

The Hong Kong International Coin Convention & Antique Watch Fair (HICC) is a twice-a-year event that promotes Asia's coin and banknote marketplace to a broad audience. The oldest show of its kind in Hong Kong, it attracts numismatic collectors from all over the world. The next HICC is scheduled for April 9-11, 2024, at the Holiday Inn Golden Mile.

About the Hong Kong Coin Show

The Hong Kong Coin Show is a prestigious numismatic event held twice a year. Occurring in March/April and September/October, this highly anticipated gathering is organized by four prominent partners: Stack's Bowers, Spink, Coin-In-Coin, and Shouxi.com. The primary objective of the Hong Kong Coin Show is to establish Hong Kong as a world-class hub for numismatic auctions and coin shows. To accomplish this mission, the HKCS offers a range of engaging activities, including educational seminars, exhibitions and complimentary appraisals conducted by experts. The April 12-14, 2024 event is being held at the Mira Hong Kong.

Preparing submissions

The PMG On-site Grading Event will be held at the office of CCG Hong Kong, PMG’s affiliate in Hong Kong, China. All vintage and modern notes are eligible.

Submissions will be accepted from paid Collector members and Authorized Dealers with PMG, NGC or ASG. Submissions must be made using the PMG Hong Kong Submission Form.

Fees for on-site grading

For faster processing, collectors and dealers must pay by credit or debit card (Visa or Mastercard) at the time of submission. If payment is not made at the time of submission, notes can be returned at the time of completion IF the submitter provides proof that they have paid.
