What makes it special? The back of the note shows a map of Bermuda, the British Overseas Territory in the Atlantic Ocean about 900 miles east of South Carolina. To the left of the map is King's Wharf, where cruise ships dock. King's Wharf is located at what was formerly called the Royal Naval Dockyard, which was built in 1795 and served as a major British naval base well into the 20th century.
Did you know? The fourth Friday in May is Bermuda Day, which is traditionally seen as the first time that residents there will venture into the ocean. Festivities also include a parade and road race.
