Straits Settlements Rarity Certified by PMG Featured in February Auction

A rare Straits Settlements note certified by Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®) is among the highlights in Unique Auction 2. Bidding is already underway for the sale, which is being held February 28, 2021.

The Straits Settlements ND (1931-1935) 5 Dollars Front Proof graded PMG 65 Gem Uncirculated EPQ shows the kind of currency used in Singapore and other nearby British territories during the 1930s. The Proof has a Specimen Perforation and shows King George V, who ruled from 1910 to 1936. It is estimated between RM60,000 and RM120,000 (about $15,000 - $30,000 USD).
