PMG-certified Notes and NGC-certified Coins from Asia Offered in August Sale

Singapore-based Mavin International is offering a variety of paper money graded by PMG and coins graded by NGC.

A fascinating selection of banknotes certified by Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®) and coins certified by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation® (NGC®) are being offered in Mavin International’s latest sale, Auction 57, being held on August 14, 2021. Located in Singapore, Mavin International is an Official Submission Center to NGC, NCS and PMG.

PMG-certified notes from Southeast Asia and beyond are being offered in the sale. One of the exciting lots (574) features a collection of seven Straits Settlements 1925-29 Dollars with consecutive serial numbers. The serial numbers range from J/36 91974 to 91980, with the notes graded PMG 63 Choice Uncirculated to PMG 64 Choice Uncirculated EPQ. This lot has an estimate of at least SG$58,000 (about $42,900 USD).

Meanwhile, a variety of vintage NGC-certified world coins are also offered in the sale. A Straits Settlements 1901 50 Cents graded NGC UNC Details (lot 795) is an example of the coins used in the British territories in Southeast Asia. The estimate for the lot is at least SG$1,600 (about $1,200 USD).
