Rare PMG-certified British Guiana Note Offered at Auction

A rare British Guiana banknote certified by Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®) is the top lot in World Banknote Auctions’ Live Sale 22. Online bidding is already underway for the sale on March 3, 2022.
A British Guiana 1942 20 Dollars graded PMG Very Fine 20 (lot 22062) has an estimate of $20,000 to $25,000. Before the small South American nation of Guyana gained its independence in 1966, it was ruled by the British for a century and a half. The PMG Population Report has only three non-Specimen examples of this particular catalog number.
